Welp, with the election coverage and the bailout plan's failed vote today, this pretty much hasn't been covered by the national press — and the cable news channels in particular. Personally, I think that it's big news.
It's called The Justice Department for a reason. It's supposed to dole out justice in the name of the people. And with all the crap and the shenanigans that have been going on recently in the financial sector (and why do I have a feeling there will be some shady dealings on Election Day this year), this nation needs a department that it can count on to be fair, balanced and (hello!) just.
I guess we'll find out.
